Dancing takes no exertion yet it provides so many benefits for your health and welfare Dancing is one of my fave ways to lose weight. And you can choose from so many different styles of dancing. There are dance routines that have inspired fitness workouts, such as Zumba, belly dance, jazz routines, ballet, pole dancing, ballroom dancing, etc.

Let me begin by pointing out the newest dance fitness craze today. Zumba has taken over! Ethnic dances like Mambo and Merengue has helped result in the base of Zumba. Your fave Zumba routines will have moves like Meringue, Salsa, Cumbia, and Reggaeton Zumba is easily accessible, from video games, to local classes, to at home workout DVDs. Zumba even sells amazing looking workout gear.

You can workout your back ,hips, and core in belly dancing classes, a style of dance that is predominately found in the Middle East. A selection of at home workout DVDs have been released. You also find gym classes that concentrate more on the traditional dance while others have integrated dance and exercise in order to have pleasurable and worthwhile workouts.

Another trendy fitness dance class that has been around since 1969 is Jazzercise. You’ll find many of the traditional workouts like jazz dance, Pilates, kickboxing, Latin dance moves, resistance training, and yoga to be a share of Jazzercise routines. There are thousands of classes and home videos available and Jazzercise continues to lead the way in the fusion of dance and exercise. Jazzercise is a fantastic fitness plan for beginners or deconditioned individuals searching to finally get healthy and athletic.

Even television shows have made dance fitness become more popular than ever. If you said “Dancing with the Stars” and “So You Think You Can Dance”, you sure as hell know your TV! Dance-inspired workouts have carved a corner in the world of fitness because of the various benefits you can get from them such as cardiovascular conditioning, muscle strengthening and coordination, and many more. Assurance and emotional wellbeing can be gained by dancing routines. It’s proven that dance fitness lower stress levels, less fatigue, higher energy levels, more positive attitudes, higher self-esteem, and a greater sense of self-confidence.

It’s also amazing to observe that dance can lower the risk of dementia because it requires a individual to practice his/her memory skills. That’s right! Dancing involves steps choreographed to the music making you use your brainpower to think the ordered steps.
